Wagon envy. I have it. I've only owned one wagon in my life and I only drive it a few times, so I have this itch that needs to be scratched. Thanks @a_guy_and_his_e34 for letting me pretend for a little while.
@tallpizzal scrunched his forehead, racked his brain and guessed many times to finally win five Sneak Peeks. His selflessly chose a free illustration of @keishabethuggin's STi. You, too, can win a free illustration by guessing at my morning Sneak Peek post. Good luck!
It's my experience that nobody can own a single Tiara. A Portland-local has a few sedans and now I've run across Australian @spud_li, who has a wagon AND a ute. When you want to make sure that nobody else on the road is driving the same car that you are I guess you just buy all of them, right?
I'm digging deeper and deeper to finish my project to illustrate every Toyota to hit our shores. Number 194 on my list is the second-generation Corona MKII wagon. This is a rare car, but @j.t.rex doesn't let that slow him down. Perfect patina, some pro-street-style staggered wheels and the appropriate stance, but only those in the know would turn their heads and that's how he likes it.
I'm going wagon happy this week. Third vintage Toyota wagon I've done in the last seven days and number 188 in my quest to illustrate every Toyota sold in the states. Featured today is the third-generation Crown wagon running around South Australia by @_brokenrecord.
Little did I know when I began this illustration that I was replicating the art of someone whose style is of constant inspiration to me. (Did that even make sense?) I needed a 2nd-gen Corona wagon to slot into the 185th slot in my draw-every-Toyota project and this sweet little creature, owned by @the.max.fish, is decorated by none other than @pinstripe_chris. That explains why I LOVE IT! Street art style intertwined with the Rising Sun layered over a beautiful metallic brown... perfection.
I almost always choose modified cars to illustrate, but today I just couldn't pass up this amazing Cressida wagon. (Actually, this is called a Corona Mark II because it's groovy JDM, not boring USDM) @tsunenaga1980 lives in Japan and owns this classic and you should check out his page for the cool vintage motorcycles. This guy is badass!
@philreel rocks. He won a free illustration by playing the daily Sneak Peek and what does he do? He asks me to illustrate @jochy06sg9's dope Forester STi instead of his own car. That's a true friend. And that is a sweet Forester! You can get your own car spotlighted here if you want. $100 puts you at the front of the list, or guess every morning for your chance to win your own illustration or a free framed print and stickers!
