Toyota number 254 in my quest to illustrate all 264 variants in the US. Not so easy to find a 5th-gen Celica convertible on IG, but finally dug one up over on @70hands. Only ten Toyotas left to reach my goal!
Toyota number 253 out of 263 in my quest to illustrate every single body variant of every single generation of every single model of every single Toyota brand sold in the US. (whew) ONLY TEN LEFT! Sweet Celly, @thelastzach, I chose your coupe because it looks so damn good in your latest snow photo. The bronze Work Ewings fit perfectly!
Toyota number 252 in my quest to illustrate all 263 variants sold in the US. Check out @wolf.coast's new 1980 Celica, just purchased about a week ago. Super clean!
Toyota number 246 in my quest to illustrate every variant ever sold in the US. Let's say hi to @sancho_kac and his Celica liftback. It looks like a work in progress and I'll be following along to see how it turns out.
Again, it took me just about as long to find someone who owns a late-80s Celica convertible as it took me to illustrate it. These car's are out there, it just seems that nobody reps em! No matter, I found Isaac and his $540 clunker, but more importantly I stumbled onto his blog where he posts a ton of interesting old cars that he spots. oldcarhunt.wordpress.com if you want to check it out.
Number 238 in my quest to illustrate all 260 Toyota variants sold in the US is this Celica coupe owned by @_danielingram.
After finishing @blakenator_54's sweet Celica coupe, I have just twenty-eight illustrations left to complete every single Toyota model variant ever sold in the US. Every. Single. Last. One. Wow.
Again I scoured the Instagrams for an owner of a particular rare Toyota and came up empty-handed. Good for you, though, because this Celica Sunchaser, a truly rare car, is for sale at East Coast Toyota in New Jersey. Under 28,000 miles on this beauty and it's priced at $13,500.
