Uh Muh Guhd. As a kid I eschewed the typical Countach and Testarossa fantasies and instead had posters of the 427 Shelby Cobra wallpapering my bedroom walls. As an adult I acknowledge the awesomeness of the newest tech wonders: Maclarens, Paganis, Bugattis... but the classic proprtions and pure sexual attraction of a classically-designed exotic will always capture my heart. I saw this newest iteration of the Vanquish just the other day and I couldn't NOT include it in my project. Someone get me the box of tissues.
Got antsy over the new big body Lexus and since recently illustrating the sweet VIP rides of @mfxn0tserp and @nat7272 I wanted to get the jump on the LS500. I must admit, when I first saw the official release photos I was a little disappointed, I mean it looks a lot like I would have predicted. I wanted something that surprised me... and now that I see this lowered with some appropriate footwear and a shocking color, I love it.
Yet another fruitless search of Instagram for an LFA owner. It's easy to find photos of LFAs posted, but nobody ever tags the owner. So I settled for a Sunset Orange example that I found on Sabini Wheel's website. It's got to be owned by somebody, right? Looking sharp on a set of Sabini SV44s!
I've spent over an hour trying to track down owners of some rare Toyotas for this project, but at least when I need to find a dope late-model big-body lexus it only takes seconds. Enter @nat7272's LS460L, VIP to the bone. Now only 39 variants left in my quest to illustrate every Toyota model ever sold in the US.
Winner after winner after winner! @shreddtapp persistently played the daily Sneak Peek game and finally won his five points last week. You can also win free art by playing along every morning. I post a daily hint for the next day's vehicle and if you are the first to guess the model then you get a point. Five points and you earn a free illustration or some goodies from my past art. Good luck!
Toyota number 209 in my quest to illustrate every body style. There aren't many third-gen Tacomas sold in Access Cab configuration, so it was a little trickier to find a unique one. Finally discovered @mainlineoverland and their range of swappable toppers that include this sweet camper.
@tallpizzal scrunched his forehead, racked his brain and guessed many times to finally win five Sneak Peeks. His selflessly chose a free illustration of @keishabethuggin's STi. You, too, can win a free illustration by guessing at my morning Sneak Peek post. Good luck!
Posh. I've never used that word before in my life, but it sums up this Bentley in four letters. A friend of mine loaned me his Continental W12 last year and it was very pleasurable to drive. The torque is satisfying as fuck. So when my neighbor parked this GTC in front of her shop I had to take a moment to appreciate it.
