Not easy to find a cleanly-modified first-generation Lexus RX300. So.... I was bored and wanted to do a crazy wheel I'd never done before. 28" chrome on blue Dub Da U straight up donk wheels with the appropriate rubberbandery not quite protecting the lips. Kaboom! Thanks for the source, acewhips.net!
Impossible to find. In the past few weeks as I get closer to the end of my project to illustrate all 265 Toyota model variations sold in the US, I've run into a number of models that just didn't sell well and weren't deemed collectable enough to survive the decades. It's a bit sad, but I suppose it's Darwinism in action. This Corolla Tercel sedan is one of those cars and after spending over an hour scouring Instagram for a single owner of this model, I gave up.
Want your car illustrated for free? Be like @trailborn_yota and win my daily Sneak Peek guessing game. Get five points then I'll illustrate your car and share it here. Good luck!
Yet another Toyota variant in my quest to illustrate all, and it's another rare model. The Camry sedan is ubiquitous but how often do you see a first-gen liftback? Not hardly at all, and @travelssias's liftback was pretty much the only one I could find on Instagram. Here ya go, Nicobson, because you chose a unique ride you get a unique gift of my art. Enjoy.

Last week @booby1178 won the Sneak Peek and earned a free illustration of his beautiful C280. You could win your own art by guessing at the daily Sneak Peek showing a clue of the following day's illustration. Can't seem to win? My $100 commission fee includes a high-quality photo print suitable for framing (up to 13x19" / US S&H inc). Check my bio for more info.
In late 2015, after decades of neglecting my childhood passion, I decided to start drawing again. My New Year's Resolution was to draw a car every day, and with @philippesceaux's Corolla Liftback I have accomplished my goal. Three-hundred-sixty-six illustrations, including one-hundred-eighty-four different Toyotas, with a total of nearly 1000 hours invested. Now that the year is over, I have no plans to stop. Let's do it again!
Ya know I'm trying to get all of these Toyotas drawn and I tend to be a little single-minded about it. Need a little variety, so today we visit Rochester NY and check out one of @slammedfiero87 rides. I always wanted to own a Fiero GT fastback just for kicks, but never got around to it. I'll settle for living vicariously today.
I was super close to buying one of these a few years ago and I regret not snatching it up. No worries, because I can just drool over @bachmania's beautiful coupe, which is nicer than would have ever been anyway! Number 207 in my quest to illustrate every Toyota sold in the US, just another 54 to go!
